St. Andrew’s Elementary follows the prescribed British Columbia Ministry of Education provincial curriculum for Full day Kindergarten to Grade 7. Further information about this curriculum can be found at http://www.bced.gov.bc.ca/irp/.

Within these guidelines our teachers maintain high academic standards and are well prepared to meet the diverse needs and styles of all learners.  Students develop strong work habits and study skills within a caring and encouraging environment.   

The principal and teachers work collegially by participating in monthly departmental meetings to discuss educational initiatives. As Catholic educators, the development of the whole child - spiritually, physically, intellectually, culturally, emotionally and socially - is central to our mission.

Diocesan approved programs of Religious Studies and Christian Family Life complement the BC Ministry of Education curriculum.
